Folios 285-286: William Hall Gage, HMS Indus, Hosley Bay [Hollesley Bay?]. Reports his arrival from the Texel, pursuant to orders from Rear Admiral John Ferrier, copy enclosed, together with a report on the defects of the ship [item not enclosed].
Folio 287: enclosure with folios 285-286: Orders, dated 24 July 1813, from John Ferrier, Vice Admiral, HMS Scarborough off the Texel to William Hall Gage, HMS Indus. Directs William Hall to proceed to Hosley Bay [Hollesley Bay?]and complete the rations and water for HMS Indus and then rejoin HMS Scarborough by the next Spring tides.
