Description

Folio 171-172: Johnathan Clements, Dartmouth. Concerning Peter J. Boyesen, a Dane by birth, sailed hence for Morlaix in L'Hercule, a French cartel, on 31 August having a passport as a liberated prisoner of war and is now here, he states he was taken from L'Armide, a French merchant schooner bound for Martinique last March by HMS Intelligence Gun Brig, and released by Mr Kingston, then traveled to France, latterley to Caen, then to Guernsey and Brixham on the Venus, he reports these movements for information.
