Folios 12-13: William Charlton, Regulating Captain, North Shields. Acknowledges Mr Barrow's letter directing that David Evans of the Lyra tender be sent to the Nore for forwarding to HMS Enterprise to appear before Lord Chief Justice Ellenborough but reports that no such man is on board the Lyra tender, A man of that name was transferred was sent to the Nore in September and appears at the Rendezvous with Lieutenant Flinn, having been impressed from the Harmony of London, P Humphries Master, stated by Lieutenant Flinn to have 3 ½ years at sea, but would not answer questions.
