Description

Folios 302-303: Charles Cobb, Yarmouth. He spoke to Captain Edmund Crawley and learned the men of HMS Lion are determined to proceed to the Nore to be paid. He found the Captain in some agitation and together with his ill health is unlikely to be able to carry on for much longer. He has therefore determined to take command, if the will receive him, and hopefully stop the ship being pressed and give confidence to the Pilot.
