Description

Folios 90-92: James Boxer, Dover. He writes about the merchant ship The Prince of Brazil which was part of a convoy he was escorting when in command of HMS Aquilon. He reports that the weather was fair and so it was easy for the convoy to remain in place and he can only conclude that the Prince of Brazil and the merchant ship Elisha Tupper purposely left the convoy in the night. He suggests that the Admiralty consider the affidavits send by his officers to the Admiralty Proctor and also to the ship's log.
