Folios 79-80: James Bradby., HMS Ariadne. He landed with Captain Dobree from the boat at Elsinore where an event took place. A man struck one of his crew Thomas Sampson on the back. He went after the man, a large mob collected, some collared Captain Dobree at which he drew his sword. The man was put under charge. He waited on the Danish Admiral and Mr. Fenwick, the Consul, took depositiions from himself and Captain Dobree as evidence, but the Magistrate did not permit them and the man went unpunished.
