Folios 16-17: John Boyle, Poole Rendezvous. John Welch, 20, surrendered himself here as a deserter from the Limerick Fencibles. Sir Vere Hunt, Collector at Guernsey. He came to Weymouth in the Packet on way to Portsmouth, served 2 years HMS Magnanine, Captain De Courcy, discharged to go as servant to Captain De Courcy's brother, left and joined the Fencibles, but is now desirous to go to sea again. Asks directions.
