John Wilson Croker. Trials on a small scale were made with Lieutenant I W Wilson's composition for paying the seams of ships. As the results were satisfactory, more composition for experiments was asked for. He wishes to conduct some experiments himself and if they succeed, he would accede to our request. Two years have elapsed without contact from him, so we are unable to report fully on the merits of the composition.
