Description

Appendix 8: Copy of a transcript of testimony given by Mr. George Felfer. He has been employed for 50 years and is the oldest Pilot on the river. He reports observing shoaling, sometimes considerable, in various reaches of the river, while other parts have not changed significantly. He blames the shoaling on the Maidstone Locks and the Bridge, which impede the current.
