Description

Copy letter from John Maberly, Paul's Wharf, to the Navy Board. Advise that I wish to transfer my interest in the contract to purchase a quantity of sunn hemp owned by HM Navy. As the contract only relates to purchase of goods, I feel the clauses had been inserted as a generality rather than specifically. Ask to be permitted to assign the contract without the need for affidavit.
