Description

Note. Mr Pearce informed Mr Finlaison that the Navy Board advised that Captain Stephen Popham with 351 Officers and Seamen included, would proceed in the Aeolus to Canada, as well as how they were to be borne and paid. When they quit the Aeolus, the ship would fall under the charge of Captain George Creighton, who had instructions about the care of sails and procedure if the ship were sold.
