Description

Philip Stephens. Sir William Chambers has informed the Treasury that the houses begun for the Board members, will not be finished for 2 years and it is uncertain when the others may be completed. It will be necessary for members to provide houses for themselves until those near Somerset House are completed and we ask for an allowance of house rent to each of the members who are allowed houses.
