He returns the medical arrangements for the union as far as he is able to obtain them. Appointment of medical officer form Newport Pagnell Number 1 District for Robert Collison, age 67, from Newport Pagnell at a salary of £37 10s. Appointment of medical officer form Newport Pagnell Number 2 District for William Heygate, age 28, from Newport Pagnell at a salary of £12. Appointment of medical officer form Newport Pagnell Number 3 District for William Rogers, age 29, from Wolverton Station at a salary of £19. Previously at Rye Union [Sussex]. Appointment of medical officer form Newport Pagnell Number 4 District for Thomas Nicholas Heygate, age 36, Hanslope at a salary of £19. Previously at Potterspury Union [Northamptonshire]. Appointment of medical officer form Newport Pagnell Number 5 District for George Osborn Rogers, age 42, Newport Pagnell, at a salary of £15. Previously at Newport Union. Appointment of medical officer form Newport Pagnell Number 6 District for John Shepherd Maskew and William Herbert Hole, ages 29 and 31, Fenny Stratford, at a salary of £52. Previously at the Sussex Infirmary. Appointment of medical officer form Newport Pagnell Number 7 District for Nathaniel Godfrey, age 43, Turvey, Bedfordshire, at a salary of £5 10s. Previously at the Bedford and Newport Union. Appointment of medical officer form Newport Pagnell Number 8 District for Hammond Chalk, age 37, Budge Street, at a salary of £37 10s. Previously at the Kessingland District of Mutford and Lothingland Incorporation Suffolk. Appointment of medical officer form Newport Pagnell Number 9 District for Thomas Parker, age 30, Woburn [Bedfordshire], at a salary of £20. Previously at the Woburn Union. Appointment of medical officer form Newport Pagnell Number 10 District for William Wootton, age 45, Harrold [Bedfordshire], at a salary of £5. Previously at Bedford and Newport Union. Appointment of medical officer form Newport Pagnell Union Workhouse for Robert Collison, age 67, from Newport Pagnell at a salary of £37 10s. Annotated: by Mr Weale [Robert Weale, Assistant Poor Law Commissioner] he questions some of the qualifications. 3 June 1848. Sanction the appointment of Mr Collison to District 1. Enquire whether the guardians could not appoint a resident medical officer for the second district. Sanction the appointment of Mr Rogers [District 3].
