Description

William Marsden. The agents for the late Mr. Hore have asked for dispensation for the affidavit on the issue of slops, beds and tobacco, to enable them to receive his wages as Purser of the Kent. James Hore is shown on the books of the Kent as joining the ship 15th March 1798 as Purser and he died at Oriston Bay in December 1802. Dispensation may be granted on Admiralty approval.
