William Marsden. Richard Hobbs has asked for dispensation for certain papers to enable him to pass his accounts. He was on the supernumerary list as Boatswain on the Terpsichore in September 1796 from the Cameleon. He was invalided to Gibraltar in January 1797. As the substantive Boatswain was absent for a long period, Mr. Hobbs should be given personal pay as Boatswain of the Terpsichore with compensation for 2 servants from September 1796 to January 1797 and ask for approval.
