Extract from a letter from Commissioner Fanshawe to the Board. He does not accept responsibility for accounting for or payment of fees. Mr. Ellery, his 1st Clerk, says the report for the Christmas quarter was forwarded to the Board with a draft and a letter to Mr. Townsend, Receiver of Fees. Mr. Fanshawe asks how other yards handle fees.
