Description

Lieutenant Clark has written to record his appreciation of Mr. Bacon's efforts in going round to Ramsey to prevent smuggling there and to carry new men round to Douglas. He has fitted up the Friends as a tender, when his other ship, the Anna Elizabeth, is detained at Hoylake.
