Sends a valuation from J Hoseason, Acting Naval Officer in Madras, of the French privateer La Gloire, prize to the sloop Albatross, which has now entered the service under the name Trincomalee with a crew of 121 men. As the valuation is reasonable, permission is requested to pay the bills which were drawn in order to purchase the vessel.
