Philip Stephens. Thomas Rice, Able Seaman discharged by pay lists from the Rattlesnake cutter on Admiralty order, has applied for his wages as he is now employed in the Customs. He only entered the Service in August 1777 and received £5 Bounty money. Ask whether the Bounty received should not be abated from his wages.
