Philip Stephens. The Agent of Captain Reeve has asked for dispensation for the want of Lord Howe's order for his commanding the Scorpion, so he may be paid his wages. The order has not come to the Agent's hand as it was supposed to have been lost in Merlin, when she was destroyed. Ask for consideration of the case. We have no objection to dispensation for want of the order, if their Lordships are satisfied he did act by such order and direct his being paid.
