Description

Philip Stephens. Lieutenant Walter at Gravesend informs us that men were pressed from the transports ordered to Stadt, Lieutenant Hicks at Portsmouth reports that men were pressed from the Lord North and Ward at Portsmouth and several of the Masters of transports on their way to the Nore for the Clyde inform us that men have been pressed. Ask for directions for their discharge as otherwise the transport service must stand still.
