- Folio 377. Draft letter from the Poor Law Commission to J Riley, Auditor of the Basford Poor Law Union, acknowledging his letter of 5 July. The Commission consider that he cannot as auditor postpone the quarterly audit of the Basford Union accounts, but they think he can appoint some day within the time required under the regulations, and if any of the parties are not ready, may then adjourn the audit. Paper Number: 9024/B/1842. Poor Law Union Number 334. Counties: Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.
