- Folio 376. Letter from from [J Riley, Auditor of the Basford Poor Law Union] to the Poor Law Commission. As several officers are not ready with their accounts, he asks whether he may allow uptake until 25 July, although the accounts will not then be concluded within the limited period. Annotated: 'state that the Auditor cannot postpone the Audit, but the Commissioners think he must appoint some day within the appointed time, and if the particulars are not then ready he may adjourn the audit of their accounts.' Paper Number: 9024/B/1842. Poor Law Union Number 334. Counties: Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.
