Folio 254. Draft letter from the Poor Law Commission to W and E Willoby [William Willoby and Edward Willoby], Clerks to the Guardians of the Berwick-upon-Tweed Poor Law Union. It acknowledges their letter of 6 March 1839 informing them that John Rowland, Treasurer, Berwick-upon-Tweed Union, has agreed to allow the board of guardians the usual bankers' interest on money in hand. Paper Number: 1582/B/1839. Town and County of Berwick-upon-Tweed, Northumberland and North Durham [detached].
