Draft letter from the Poor Law Commission to Hugh Rice, Overseer of St Just in Roseland, St Mawes, in the Truro Poor Law Union, acknowledging his letter of 7 October 1841, concerning an order for the expenditure of £10 for persons emigrating from St Just. They inform him that an order was issued on 4 October 1841 and send him a copy [not included]. Annotated: Mr Lumley [William Golden Lumley, Assistant Secretary to the Poor Law Commission]. Paper Number: 9330/A/1841. Poor Law Union Number 57. Counties: Cornwall.
