1 individual petition (prisoner) on behalf of Henry Blanchard Dubois [Henry Blanchard De Bois], physician, convicted at Surrey Winter Assizes Kingston upon Thames on 19 December 1831 for stealing £24, property of William Fletcher, in a house on 29 July. There is a report dated 1 February 1832 from the trial judge Sir John Patteson stating no reason to question verdict. Grounds for clemency:
Initial sentence: transportation for life, commuted sentence. Gaoler's report: character unknown. Annotated: nil. KQ 15
