Letter on behalf of visiting magistrates signed by Philip Hunt confirming the good conduct whilst in the House of Correction of James Mardling, James Walker and William Ancell who were convicted at the Bedford Lent Assizes in 1826 of wantonly and maliciously killing a ram. Initial sentence: two years' imprisonment with hard labour. Annotated: remission August 1827. MM4
