1 individual petition (the prisoner) and 1 collective petition (8 Sussex farmers) on behalf of Richard Wimborn, labourer, convicted at Lewes Quarter Sessions in the County of Sussex on 4 May 1821 of stealing a fowl valued at 2 shillings. Grounds for clemency: sheltering from the rain in a thrashing machine when he saw the fowl. 60 years old - has been on the hulks for 3 years. Initial sentence: 7 years' transportation.
