Draft letter from the Poor Law Commission to R M Hodge [Richard Michell Hodge], Clerk to the Guardians of the Truro Poor Law Union, stating that as the collector for St Agnes appointed shortly after the formation of Truro Union has vacated his office by ceasing to carry out his duties for many years the guardians may proceed to appoint a collector under the Commission's order 7 July 1837 and request that the particulars of the appointment be reported to the Commission on the enclosed form [not included]. Paper Number: 2395/A/1844. Poor Law Union Number 57. Counties: Cornwall.
