Description

Licence number 9462: Thomas Williams.

Caption order and prison record from when he was convicted of selling government stores at the Assizes at Warwick, Warwickshire 16 December 1857.

Then aged [not given] years and by trade [not given].

Sentence: 4 years penal servitude.

Licence granted 29 June 1861, for early release from Portland prison.

Comments: No Caption order. Order for a licence to be at large only annotated caption to Dartmoor 20 October 1870.
