Draft letter from the Poor Law Commission, to R Barker [Richard Barker] and James L Barker, Clerks to the Guardians of the Tynemouth Poor Law Union, acknowledging the resolution made at the guardians meeting dated 22 June 1837 and enclosed in their letter of 24 August. The resolution showed Robert Taylor as appointed as Collector of the Rates for Hartley. His appointment is confirmed. Paper number: 5973/B/1837. Poor Law Union Number 333. Counties: Northumberland.
