Folios 177-179. Letter from R Barker [Richard Barker] and James L Barker, Clerks to the Guardians of the Tynemouth Poor Law Union, to Edwin Chadwick, Secretary to the Poor Law Commission. Enclosed is a copy of the resolution made at the guardians meeting dated 22 June 1837. Robert Taylor is appointed as Collector of the Rates for Hartley. He is to be paid at 4d and 8d in the pound as set out by the Commission. Annotated: confirm appointment. Paper number: 5973/B/1837. Poor Law Union Number 333. Counties: Northumberland.
