Letter to the Poor Law Board from J R Tomlin [James Robinson Tomlin], Clerk to the Guardians of the Reeth Poor Law Union, enclosing minutes of the meeting in which he was elected clerk. The minutes show John Barker, Chairman, Thomas Birkbeck, Vice Chairman, Messrs John Clarkson, James Clarkson, Josepth Peacock, Robert Birkbeck, George Nelson, Harland [John Harland], Thomas Blenkiron, George Alderson being the guardians and ex officio Matthew Whitelock. 6218/1852. Poor Law Union Number 555. Counties: Yorkshire North Riding.
