- Folio 391. Draft letter from the Poor Law Board to the Clerk to the Guardians of the reeth poor law union about the amount of accommodation in Reeth workhouse. Having consulted with Mr Hurst [Norman Edward Hurst], Poor Law Inspector, the Board believe that 40 should be the fixed number of paupers which the workhouse can lawfully hold at any one time. 2520/1852. Poor Law Union Number 555. Counties: Yorkshire North Riding.
