Letter from the Poor Law Board to John Bailey Langhorne, Clerk to the Guardians of the reeth poor law union, referring to the report of Mr Hurst [Edward Norman Hurst], Poor Law Inspector, asking for an explanation as to why, although Langhorne [John Bailey Langhorne] is clerk, his partner Mr Tomlin [James Robinson Tomlin] performs the clerk's duties. 31/1852.
