Description

William Wellesley Pole. James Luce of Saltash has petitioned to be reentered as a shipwright at Plymouth Yard. Commissioner Fanshawe reports that Luce is not suitable for reemployment. Luce left the yard in 1796 to go to sea but cannot produce any certificates of service and good behaviour for the entire period of his absence.
