Description

Lieutenant Walter Boswell of the Conquest gun brig to Rear Admiral Sir Edward Nagle. In my present anchorage in Grouville Bay, my cables have been cut twice by the rocks and during the bad season of the year it will be extremely unsafe to keep my station with anchor and cables. Opine that with a chain and a bridle laid to the east he should be able to keep his station in any weather.
