Hon. William Wellesley Pole. Captain J.B. Capel of the Meleager has drawn a bill of exchange which has been charged as an imprest against him as he sent no supporting vouchers. He states the bill was drawn by order of Captain Watkins, the senior Officer at Curacao, for the purchase of Boatswain's and Carpenter's stores and the order and voucher were lost with his books when the Meleager was wrecked in June 1802. Ask whether the imprest can be cleared
