Description

John Dawson to the Board. The Fortitude sailed from the Downs, yesterday, for Spithead under protection of the Harlequin. The delay at Deptford by contrary winds means that she will miss the convoy and we ask if the Admiralty will assign her to a convoy from Portsmouth immediately so she can join the late convoy at Madeira or Barbados..
