Description

William Wesley Pole. Recommend the continuing use of Messrs Taylor for the manufacture of blocks for a further period of at least twelve months, even though Mr Goodrich has given assurance, confirmed by General Bentham and Mr Brunel that the wood mills at Portsmouth can now manufacture all the articles mentioned in the Blockmaker's contract. This would prevent total dependence on one source of blocks should fire or other accident, prevent supply from that source.
