Copy letter from the Portsmouth Officers to the Board. Report of expenses claimed by Messrs Grenfell and Williams, for attending the remanufacture of copper in that yard and the cost per lb when rolled into sheets. Give the quantity of old copper at Portsmouth and received from foreign yards, in 1804, 1805 and 1806. The prices might vary dependent upon demand. In November 1804 a large number of sheets had been returned to Messrs Grenfell and Williams as Mr Shaffield, the then Metal Master at Portsmouth, found they were unfit for receipt..
