Philip Stephens. There was a great hurricane last year at Antigua, when most of HM storehouses and other buildings were destroyed and the rest damaged. We have erected temporary buildings for the preservation of the stores and accommodation of the Officers and workmen. We directed Mr. Watts, then employed as Overseer of the works, to form a plan and estimate for rebuilding and improving the same. He attended us on his arrival in England, and recommend it and give an estimate of what will be needed next year and for 1775 and 1776. The other parts of the plan may be postponed until it is found necessary to execute them.
