Philip Stephens. William Maude, Attorney to Captain Edward Cauldwell of the Vulture Sloop, has asked for dispensation for an irregularity in his books in order for his general certificate to be granted. The muster book is delivered contrary to the late Act of Parliament but as there is no inconvenience to the service, opine it may be dispensed with as has been done to all Captains under like circumstances
