Doctor Templeman, Secretary to the Society for the encouragement of Arts, has signified their request to have the use of a small vessel or hulk for the trial of some candidates pumps, before the Committee of Mechanics. The Deptford hulk may be spared for the trial of the pumps but hope the Society will not put the Government to any expense
