Description

John Clevland. Ships are to be hired to carry 4 Battalions of Foot from Scotland to Ireland but have been unable to make satisfactory arrangements. Have appointed John Holden, an experienced Shipwright, who has built ships for the Navy in merchant yards, to negotiate for them
