Thomas Corbett. Mr. Clevland has received a letter from Captain Saumarez of the Nottingham, now at Plymouth, which reports some of his crew have been turned over from other ships and have not been paid since they arrived in England. Commissioner Vanburgh reports the men's paybooks are not at Plymouth but at other yards or else in the ships from which the men were turned over, the Hind Sloop or the Augusta and Granado bombs which have not been ordered to be paid. It would cause expense and risk of loss if pay books were to be transferred from one yard to another and suggest a solution would be for a list of all the men affected and for the men to be paid at Broad Street from the records there
