Folios 103-104. Letter from the Duke of Buckingham, at Avington, near Winchester, [Hampshire], requesting the return of the Buckinghamshire yeomanry forces to be returned to their home county.
He writes that the yeomanry, under the command of Marquis of Chandos have been out of the county and the [----- Barracks] for a long time, and he feels they should return. He adds that he has reason to believe that they may be needed in Beaconfield, Risborough and Thame, and suggests that the troops could cross the River Thames at Marlow to return. He finishes by saying all is quiet at present but that a military presence is still very much desired.
