The principal new line runs from St Leonards to Hellingly (north of Hailsham).
Railway no 1 diverges from the LBSC Hastings to Brighton line at St Leonards, and joins the authorised Tunbridge Wells and Eastbourne Railway at Hellingly. Parishes: St Leonards, Hollington, Bexhill, Crowhurst, Catsfield, Ninfield, Ashburnham, Wartling, Herstmonceux, and Hellingly. Names Buckhold, Potmans Farm, Reed Wood, Eleven Acres Wood, Hope House Farm, Marl Pits, Parkes Farm, Gardner Street, Stunts Green, Park farm.
Railway no 2 diverges from Railway no 1 in Herstmonceux, and links north to the authorised Tunbridge Wells and Eastbourne Railway in Warbleton (Stream Farm). Parishes: Herstmonceux, Wartling, Warbleton. Names Cowbeech, Stream Farm.
Deviation no 1 amends the authorised Ouse Valley Line (Session 1864) at its junction with the LBSC Railway in Cuckfield. Parishes: Cuckfield, Ardingly, Lindfield. Names Kenwards Farm.
Deviation no 2 amends the authorised Ouse Valley Line (Session 1864) between Lindfield and Fletching. Parishes: Lindfield, Horsted Keynes, Chailey, Newick, Fletching. Names Sloop Inn, Wapsbourne Wood, Sheffield Bridge, Sheffield Park, Bonswick Farm.
Deviation no 3 amends the authorised Tunbridge Wells and Eastbourne Line between Town Row, Rotherfield, and Heathfield. Parishes: Rotherfield, Mayfield, Heathfield. Names Town Row, Claytons, Old Mill, Little Marlye, Northdown, Crown Inn.
Scale of plans and sections for Railways nos 1 and 2 are: horizontal 1": 5 chains and vertical 3": 250 feet. Cross-sections of railway crosses are given with scale as above. OS map is attached with proposed rail routes marked in red and 'Authorised T W and Eastbourne Line' marked in blue.
