- Postcard: Ferry Crossing, Knott End. On reverse: A.J.Evans, publisher, Preston. Postmarked Fleetwood. 18 Sp. 24. Message reads: 'Dear Maria, We are still having a good time it is lovely and fine today, we have come to Fleetwood by car this afternoon and come across the ferry in a boat to Knot (sic) End. I am writing this at Knot (sic) End. Winnie is quite enjoying it. We are going to the Winter Gardens tonight with Alice and Aunty Annie. We are coming back on the 4.5 o'clock from Blackpool Friday in Manchester 5.55 so we shall come on the 6.35 from London. Best love from Aunty Lily and Winnie. Addressed to: Mrs. H.Bloor Woodhouse Park. Nr. Cheadle, Cheshire.
