Indenture of receipt by Sir Thomas Cawarden of horses and horse furniture from Lord Howard of Effingham. Counterpart of an indenture between Lord Howard of Effingham and Cawarden acknowledging redelivery of horses and trappings. These were part of the horses and armour seized from Cawarden by Sir Thomas Saunders, 29 Jan 1554. Numbered '53'. Endorsed, probably by Cawarden 'Indenture of my horses from the Lord William Howard'. [Film Fo 320.38]
